Nice review..good job..'This Holmes is a diva'..you sumed it up brilliantly. And my word..Robert Downey jr. is a pleasure to watch on screen. There are fireworks on display when he is involved in a scene. Bring on holmes and iron man 2 asap.

Intelligent and Brilliant movie
by Goutam Chakraborty on Jan 10, 2010 01:40 AM

A Very Nice well made Movie. Forgot the books and watch it. Acting of Downey and Law is perfect. Those who like intelligent movies they should like this one more than Avatar. I'm now waiting for the sequel.

-Meaning of words people seem to be finding difficult
by anupam sharma on Jan 10, 2010 12:47 AM  | Hide replies

1-zeitgeist-The spirit of the time; the spirit characteristic of an age or generation
2- milieu-context
3-lark-Play boisterously
5-steampunk-sub-genre of science fiction and speculative fiction
6- chutzpah-unbelievable gall; insolence; audacity
7-Happenstance-An event that might have been arranged although it was really accidental
8-Gibberish-Unintelligible talking
All in all a gibberish article where raja's lark is not suited to the milieu & he is not an embodiment of zeitgeist he thinks he is & it is happenstance that this guy has a job

If you don't know the meaning of basic English words (yes, Basic; might not be for illiterates, however.), you should watch dumb Hindi movies that are churned out every week for all dumb and dumbers. Why bother watching English films in the first place?

If we love our country we should ban all english films and promote only indian movies. watching indian movies should be made compulsory for all indians. we have large number of indian population. this will increase revenue of bollywood and hollywood will go down

And your point being?

DO this because then our "Culture" will be safe, or so that the Akshay Kumar's of the world can act in movies that would send a comatose person into deeper coma (Blue any one) and where guys like him currently make Rs 30 Crore/movie, will make the same pieces of Bile inducing stuff, but will be making some Rs 100 Crore/movie....sheesh you culture vultures seriously need to get a life
