People who donot know Rahmanji are dead & lifeless block & who gets recognition from the almighty. People who still do not know let them know he is a simple human being ,pious person who is is a indian proud first.
let us all salute the genious on this birth day occasion.Heis beyond the compliments emanating from any corner because he surrenders every thing to God. all the best To him for grammy & VTV.

ar rehman the legend
by pranav chaturvedula on Jan 07, 2010 03:33 PM

firstly, i feel bad that, he was recognized too late and also because. he got oscar for a mediocre musical like jai ho, compared to the hundreds of beauties he has created earlier. lets face it he is the best. and that is why he still comes up with gr8 songs even after continously delivering wonderful songs from almost two decades now... ? i wish the international audience get a chance to listen to his previous gr8 composings. dont want them to be hidden treasures.

And coming to the forum, why are ppl fighting over south and north. when will you guys learn? "Start acting like the one you want the other to be". {saying goes both ways}

and rejoice the occasion, well music crosses all boundries.. so which ever language, doesnt matter. its not the lyrics which strike a chord {for me}, its the melody.. or the instruments.

Also know that he received best music director awards from Govt of India, Filmfare etc..He has sold more than 100 million records of his film scores and soundtracks worldwide, making him one of the world's all-time top selling recording artists. He was Time magazines 100 list of 'World's Most Influential People'.. and son on...
