I had a great regard for the maestro and his music. He should have never attached such great importance to the Grammy's.A bunch of men shouting and howling can also fetch you a grammy - thats nothing much better than publicity.
A grammy does not change a musician - he is what he is.We should stop worshipping anything and everything foreign starting from apparels to awards - its a shame we still could not love our country.

Thats very true Monideep...i seriously dont understand why we are always behind the crap oscars and grammys...these are just a country national awards n not the world....we will only start developing once we stop worshipping these ppl and their ways.... Having said this india will never change until we have ppl like Rosogollaz who l_i_c_k_s every possible american a_s_s to get his life going and likes being called an american or european rather than an INDIAN

did you watch oscars. It gave the rest of the world a chance to see how everyday average people live in india. We saw slums, we laughed and cried with slumdwellars. For 2 hours, we felts empathised to indians where more than 80% live in slums. Even in mumbai, the richest city in india, 50% live in slums.
