Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is a must watch should be renamed as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa watchable once with great patience.
Inbetween dumb action packed ... stupid movies which come in the name of heoric commercial entertainer in Tamil cinema, this is something different, but instead of 3 hrs movie should have curtailed it to 2.30 minutes. If u love insistent feel of emotions.
The review is good .. but the Title should have been changed as said and Rating should have been 2.5 .... bit fit. :)
Some1 callin VTV a 'must watch' shld have pocketed a huge sum of money from the movie makers or is not one fit enough for reviewing movies. The movie is crap. 10 minutes into the movie you slowly start realising this is not vintage Gautham Menon.His sensible and natural dialgs are missing. Most dialogues are repetitive and make u cringe. Esply evry time one of the characters in the movie deliver 'why did u choose jessee of all women on earth' - you feel a strong urge to shift positions in ur seat. And Simbu finding it amazing to include in his movie is unbelievable. Equaly appalling is his idea to make a movie in the name of jessee. Equaly irritating is Trisha’s character (I even had slight doubts if she had psychological problems). Most disgusting is Gautham’s idea of making this movie. Easily his worst. Thank heavens, Simbu was not his usual self – that would have made this worse (Having said that he was not anywhere close to delivering a great performance). The only console in the movie is the cameraman Ganesh. His dialg delvry is very natural and many a time provides a much needed break fro boredom. Such a trash !!
First half is good.. Second half is very boring .. Simbhu and Trisha have done well... With a wonderful lead pair and great music from Rehman, Gautham could have done much better...
I have seen just now this movie in PVR. It is a good movie. Back-round music Simbu Thrisa acting & Photography, direction all are excellent. FelixDavid
Simbu if he acts in mass film , it becomes flop , If he acts in class film , It becomes super duper flop . Simbu would be wondering what to do perhaps quitting
once again gowtham lived up to the expectation. The characters are portrayed in the perfect manner. locations are ecstatic. Needless to say, AR Rahman through his romantic tone have taken everyone to the dream world. Its a total makeover for simbu did it in style. Anthony's work was brilliant. There is no flaw in first half. but second half i feel has dragged the movie. except that one, Its a must watch movie for everyone. Its a different kind of love story.
