It is good to see North Indian Hindi-bhashi directors like Vishal Bhardwaj (UP), Anurag Kashyap (UP), Prakash Jha (Bihar), and now Leena Yadav from MP. Now Hindi cinema is becoming really Hindi cinema, free of fake ideas of non-Hindi speakers. Time to move Hindi film industry to Delhi or Noida, where it truly belongs. Mumbai should be the head quarter of Marathi movies of Dada Kondke types...

Shift the industry to Noida & immidiately all the actors, directors etc.will be abducted for money.Abduction & extortion is the biggest industry for local Noidaites with the blessings of their great leaders. And by the way,Sinha, get lost from Mumbai with all your filth ASAP.

Shaleen sinha .. u r a big I diot .. better read the news then try to point on Marathi cinemas ... in last 5 year .. 2 marathi movies are official entry for oscars from india, last year 1 as unofficial, every year they won national awards and fyi .. this year they have bagged 5 national awards and showned in almost all inetrnational film festival .. so some out of u r own regional world and when u use such language then u have no rights to pint thakreys as u r in the same league where they are .. and fyi .. every movie which ever the language may be has its own beauty .. and fyi apart form the above director u mention there are double the number of other directors form maharastra and form south who have given hits in bollywood .. so stop regional hatred and behave like a human and not like a stray dog .. who only knows to bark ..

Hindi is not national language. It is regional language of UP Bihar. There is no concept of national language in India. India has 22 official languages, Marathi and Hindi being 2 of them.
Actually Hindi cinema is regional cinema of UP Biharis. They have to come to Mumbai to make films, they cant do it in their own UP Bihar.

Agreed, Hindi is not a national language.. An example.. If you are marathi, bengali, marathi.. or any other.. if some one talks to u in telugu. tamil, kannada or malyalam u will be never able to understand it. But if he talks to u in Hindi u will understand.. language is just a medium to communicate.. every human comes in this world speechless... will u throw out a deaf person out of india?? grow up.. Problem solved.. have fun..

I am Marathi, I understand Telugu and Kannada, no need for Hindi.
and of course Sourth Indians know English and I know English, so we understand each other.
English should be the link language not Hindi. Hindi is just another regional language. By speaking in Hindi, one region is given unnecessary advantage at the cost of another equally important regional language
and about the deaf person example, i think you should grow up rather than give such example. We are not kids discussing here.

Ashutosh Gowariker is the lousiest of the lot. Actually, apart from Raju Hirani, none of the directors you mentioned is good. Hirani is a Sindhi...

I am into comparative film studies and believe me that most of the "inspired" Indian films are so diluted in their narrative intensity that they fail to even capture the basic nuances of the original...i have seen 21 and i will watch this movie too and i am sure that they would have made a muddle of the original.
