Its the music & not the star or lyrics that hugely adds to the product, lyrics are important but are expected to be decent enough to accompany great music. Stars as we have seen over the years are made with good music as whatever be the scale of promotions for a movie, nothing can market it better than a great music score. Can we imagine Lagaan or Dil Chahta Hai without good music? It of course carried the Aamir brand but without the beautiful score, there would have been a lot left to be desired. Lyrics come later, first the music...a recent example that can substantiate this would be the song 'O mere khuda' from Prince, its picturised on a Vivek Oberoi who we all know has zilch star value & is in fact on the negative side where value stands, but he looks good thanks to the song. I can understand lyricists like Ustad Bismillah khan died a pauper but am still afraid the potential of the reach of these lyricists to the masses would remain limited as people are interested in the lyrics only after they hear a good song. There are situations where really huge actors like Bachchan in his prime had fans desperately seeking his audio tapes & were even seen trying hard to like the songs, but even such hysteria couldn't be pushed beyond a certain limit as history would reflect.

ammir coming back to panel is good news.but it does not mean that the credit of the songs goes to only actors...how can it possible?without writing good lyrics the song can be popular so both should get credit
