I wonder what he meant by this statement. All true Indians stick to their faith as much as reciting Vandhe Mathram and know fully well that worshipping one's mother is love to God. Forsaken are all those who betray their mothers with the belief that the land of their birth is foreign and their integrity is to believe in Mecca - a distant city which is as foreign to them as it is a non-believer. No matter how much one shouts at the altar of his love to the mother country, it is the action that speaks louder than words. SRK has made it abundantly clear of his Pakistani connections; and thus his integrity does become negotiable like the currency exchange. He wants to sell his MNIK in Pakistan as much as in India.

I can see no point in being labelled SS and or MNS as I am neither, nor I have any connections with Mumbai. It is a pity, that people like you are lost in the web of enthusiasm and hero worship, than being an Indian in true spirit, which SRK is not.

Every Tom, Dick, and Harry becomes the evaluator of Patriotism. Why is nobody questioning P Chidambaram who had given the same statement? Is patriotism in India allocated at the time of birth?

Is patriotism in India allocated at the time of birth? and thereafter. There are many Dawood Ibrahims in this world, who did. So, place of birth is purely accidental but patriotism is not.
...and the movie's commercial success....SRK would not have been this patient in clarifying... he would justify his thoughts....now he has to please audiences in both nations...
he was stupid to make such a remark...and learning a lesson..
anyone including all those ppl on this board who have special affinity towards neighbor just for the sake of their fzith are not for this nation...

A prominent political leader and a Bollywood superstar are at war. And neither wants to yield their ground. One would expect the bone of contention to be something grave and substantial.
But what do you find : a silly and hypocritical statement made by SRK, and due to that a show of unwarranted and misplaced patriotism by Bal Thakre !
If prominent personalities of India can't speak tactfully, or don't take responsible decisions, then what example can they set for the common man ! One would think that folks in India don't have anything better to do than to fight over silly issues such as these !
It is unforunate that in sports and art we have political issues... but one should understand that inspite of democracy and freedom of all expression allowes and given for all Indians, we must give strong massages to the world that IT IS PAKISTAN WHO SPONSERED TERRORISM IN INDIA, ... THEIR GOVERNMENT IS CULPRIT FOR HUMAN KILLINGS IN INDIA... WORLD SHOULD KNOW WHAT KIND OF PAKISTAN AS NEIGHBOUR WE HAVE... In my view we shold not play even ckicket with pak. so question of calling the and allow for IPL is out of mind. we humblelly say that Mr. PAK CRICKETERS..! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE...! PLEASE GO AND TELL YOUR AUTHORITY THAT WE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE ANY WHERE IN WORLD. NO ONE IS COMING IN PAK AND NO ONE WANTS PAK. THANK YOU MR. GILLANI..

Every profession includes money and politics. If you are not aware of it, you are either an ignorant fool or a congenitally biased person.
