You mean you are a saddist? Masochist is one who inflicts pain on oneself and sadist is one who causes pain to others. Both the sadist and masochist derive pleasure in their own way.

But then, as Shakespere says in Hamlet, "show me a man who is not slave to passion, I will wear him in my crown". I think men in general (whatever their age) they are passionate slaves. But then again, "if youth knows....if age can..."
