something to learn
by Devdutt Nayak on Feb 02, 2010 07:25 PM  | Hide replies

I don't want to be preachy, but I'd like to say something quite obvious -

Parents are the best things to anyone.

And they come before kids.

At such times, youngsters and go-getters must take a moment to see how much they owe to their parents' selfless dedication.

Couples who have been blessed with babies will know well how much work it takes to raise kids.

Your parents did that for you for 20 years, till you got a degree - never complaining always supporting.

This is a reminder for people who neglect their parents - stop the neglect before you lose them - they don't come back after the big one.

As a country and culture we respect our elders much more than other cultures.

That is a GOOD THING.

Dont forget your parents in the rush for money or prestige or status or whatever you crave.

Those things can be got later, parents cannot.
