Firstly My congratulations to Ar rahman on winning the Golden Globes,BAFTA,oscars,grammy ET all and also best wishes with Oscar 2010 for Couples Retreat.
It pains to see people on this forum comment on his religion,mothertounge and also compare him to other music directors.I do not think he can be compared to anyone.... he is the only music composer in India who works on his terms and year after year has been signing only 1-2 films and still be as successful.Its not like hes getting one hit out of 8-10 films a year... hes doing 1 or 2 films a year and still finding unprecedented success.This only shows that the man has class and is concious of what he gives.
Lastly i do not think any of us here are qualified to comment on greats.... id urge people to refrain from personal attacks and also true rahman fans to ignore Ignorant people.....!

God help us if he does more than 1 or 2 films per year. We cant keeping on hearing the same music 8 to 10 times a year.
