Spot on regarding the friends gang - that was a let down. There were a couple of repetitions of the same thing (dont remember exactly what it was but it is there believe me ) - may be that itself was intended? :-) Also in the second half it was sagging a bit. Overall good one - had nice couple of laughs. The song is brillant - shakalaka thing.
The problem is the sense of humour of an average Tamil has been blunted by third rate comedies and situations that the Tamil cinema has specialized in. This movie is very different and brilliantly scripted.Again the emotional Tamil masses who worship every actor in the industry may find it unpalatable. The Tamil film personalities are a unique breed themselves who can not take any criticism or have the ability to laugh at themselves. They would have taken to the streets had it been produced by any other producer. These days most Tamil movies are produced by the grandsons and grand nephews of Tamil Nadu CM.

dude, get a life, what yu get by becoming a fan of some guy? A real superstar is you, first try to identify that, these so called people are using you and getting everything they want in their life, finally loosers are you who identify yourself with someone and fight with all others for them with no reason. Get a life man, live your own life, not some fantasy life of some superstar, believe in the fact that EVERYONE IS SUPERSTAR INCLUDING YOU.

People like you are responsible for the pathetic plight of Tamil cinema today. It is a spoof and there is nothing more to it. why can't you take it in the right sense. But you can't protest the way you would have liked to because of the profile of the producer. It is a very intelligently scripted movie. Too goddto be Tamil flick!

C S Amudhan, Shiva and ofcourse Dayanidhi Azhagiri had treated the audience with greatest spoof movie tamil cinema could cream of. A definite watch. Please dont miss this. I would have given 4 star for this out of 5
