R u d best human beings, atleast he is the best human beings. Try not to compare the good person, with you. OK
Without doubt, the Kunder factor has been a big reason for creative mediocrety. Unfortunately because of the personal connection, the director can be blamed of losing business objectivity. Love is blind, money isn't. FRK needs to trust her instinct and not give in to ideas, just because they come from the other side of the bed.

Shirish needs to take care of their neglected kids. Let Farah concentrate on being the man in the family.

dear porwal, just read 2day's paper and you will find the best global hit of the year was MNK. dont get jelous of some one, who is having global fame. you have 2 accept it.

MINK was hyped by PR agencies... I know the kind of mass response to the film... One can easily pulse the response by checking on bookmyshowDOTcom online on any movies and theaters around India... MINK was a BIG FLOP movie...
This one, written by husband Shirish Kunder and his brother Ashmith, is a more pedestrian script. They should sit at home and watch the 3 babies while Farah and SRK make wonderful cinema.
The fact is that, sadly Akshay Kumar has lost his touch! He has delivered dud after dud this year! Which was his last hit? Time for the KHILADI to stop doing these low-brow comedy capers and deliver a GUTSY & GORE filled action revenge drama.
My debate is not on wheather TMK is good or bad. My debate is on Rediff baised artcile that TMK is failure is TMK real failure. Rediff please expailn aur wait for two more weeks and then write articles 1: UTV spent 67 crs(including P & A) 2: recovered 22 crs from statelite 3: recovered 8 crs from music 4: Has to recover 37 crs from boxoffice(india and aborad) and home videos src for 1 2 3 and 4 is bollywoodhungama
5: UTV will atleast recover 4 crs from home video 6: box collections so far. 38 crs (weekend), 4.5 crs (monday) and 3.25 crs (tuesday) total 45.75 crs from india till tuesday. src box office 7: abroad collections so far 2.22 cr from UK, 3.33 crs from USA, 2.75 from UAE and atleast it would have recovered 2 crs from australia, pak and other countries. total 10 crs from aborad so far 8: UTV share from box office so far is 28 crs. (total box office collections from india and abroad divided by 2)
total recovery for UTV so far 22(satelite) 8(music) 4(homevideo) 28 crs = 62 crs. UTV has to recover 5 crs more for break even.
GUYs don't you think UTV will make good profits as TMK will have two more open weeks and two more days this week

If that were the case I'd rather wait for such movies to come on telly. Here we are talking entertaining cinema and not profits. People feel cheated when shown this kind of trash.

Rakesh just recovering its money doesn't make the film a BO success...it was such a huge film nd expectations were very high frm this film...but see the fate of the film....1 has to count sattelite rights n all to recver its money....BO success is that which makes profit from its theatrical business like 3I and dabang

I agree that It has not done a business what was expected from it. but I can clearly see that UTV will make some profits. If Band baja barat made a profit of few crs and it is hit then why can't TMK

UTV will make some profit bcoz of sattelite rights nd not frm theatrical business the same thing is with Gujarish and Kites....both film has made some profit to their distrubutors bcoz of sattelite nd other rights but they r flop bcoz cinema owners will lose their money. Film is known to be a hit when all everyone involved in the film makes profit nd not only distributor like ur emphasizing only on UTV and film must make profit in all territories but thats not the case with TMK.....and alo BBB is not a HIT its just avg or u can say above avg.

Box Office Verdict based on theatrical business not other source of income. TMK seems to meet the similar fate as KITES: Big opening but failing disastrously. The Tuesday buisness was as low as 3.40 crore which is 25% less from monday and 78% from weekend.
It seems to end it run at 65 cr. Cutting the distributer share, it will be great loss, even after having the advantage of holiday season.

then you should compare theatrical business with price it has been sold to distributor

Can you explain me in simple math how it will loose money. do you expect UTV to recover all 67 crs from heatrical business
