IF you ban certain things, people tend to do those things more ... the only way is to put certain restriction as these type of lewed language used in these songs has bad effect on the education of children.. All Item songs should be also brought under the perview of Censor-board and be clasified into viewable content by which age group and be aired only in those time slots suitable for people view .. may be at viewer discrition by issuing a warning .. this in itself will mak way for correction of the tide..
Rediff is not leaving any chance to give publicity to both stupid movies everywhere, everyday they have no news except sheila, TMK, salman and dabang, rediff sold themselve to them

I belive your opinon about women in India. But after 63 years of free from english people,as on time we people have not on decided what to do. We people only sought.Vande Mataram.
It's in fact very pathetic to promote/broadcast these songs before being awarded a certification. Need not be an intellectual to know that these song have very bad lyrics and have a bad influence on the society. How would you react to a 3 or 4 year old singing these vulgar lyrics? You don't have a control on the channels, what to see and what not (as someone suggested, if you don't like don't watch), as there are no time restrictions in India, so there's no question of viewer's discretion. They are being forced on to the audience. The govt should restrict the times adult material can be broadcast in the media like in the west. The producers/directors/lyricists need to act sensibly and make two versions of the songs and broadcast them accordingly or at least censor them during prime time.
Ringa ringa song from telugu movie Arya -2 has been modified as they contained vulgar lyrics. Every language should take the cue and act responsibly.

if the lyrics are vulgar then just show it in the night after 11.00pm, a similar step what the US and UK censors do, there is no need to ban it .. hope u get my point, after all adults have the right to see and listen what they want!..
