You only expect that from them. Most of them are illiterate who's IQ is so low that if u show them hero jumping from one planet to another they start believing it and open a temple in hero's name. But such movies wont run here. This explains the quality of literature in other languages. Kannada has higgest number of jnanapeeta award winners. This is something given the number of kannada speaking people is so low compared to others.

thats why you have pubs and wine shops plenty in every road and near to schools and temples. You know during Bangarappa's rule, this state was very well known as SARAYA SARKARA and his successor S M Krishna wanted to sell Beer in Malls for the youngsters to enjoy? Every alternate days, two rowdies are being shot dead by the police and there is daily chain snatching in day light and mugging during night. Leave alone rape and other atrocities commited on women. Eve teasing is the order of the day. This is current Bengaluru.

Maybe Tamilians don't give a damn about their personal hygiene, that's why they go and create slums everywhere.

Correct macha, they r the dirtiest people. their mind, body, soul everything is dirty. Go to andhra and tamilnadu, you will puke! their public places are so dirty and their language is so harsh like you will get headache when you hear those languages...whereever there are muzzis you will tamils with them, they both make the place dirty.

After visiting Sabarimala, why do you tour Madurai, Palani, etc. rather than return to Bengaluru? I dont think, during 70s and 80s kannadigas had HARIKE to visit Sabarimala, every year?

I am born, brought up, educated and presently employed in Bangalore. I know more than you about Kannada, its culture, heritage and value. I can speak eight indian languages including Sanskrit. Many of kannadigas, whom I have personally asked why Rajya Utsava (Rajotsava) is being celebrated every year on 1st November, majority did not know the answer. Thats the status of kannadigas. I showed a few students of the photograph of an eminent writer of Kannada who could not be recognised. Show them the photos of Upendra, Ravichandran, Ramba, Sneha, etc., in any costume or fashion, they will be recognised instantly. Thats is the current status of Kannada culture in karnataka and in particular Bangalore. Dont compare with others. Try to be yourself and be a Marga Darshi to others. Its like Yeddi saying that, he has done what his predecessors had done earlier. Just surrendering the lands allotted to his kith and kin will not absolve his mistake. Because of his arrogant behavior, the BJP is being embarrassed by Congress in all debates and fields. Will you allow a thief to go free once he agrees his mistakes and returns you the stolen goods?

you are only politicizing the issue. In Rajkumar's death no politics was involved but it was a very bad management by the government for the people to pay their last respect. The government could not finalise a place to lay his body for viewing. Three places were changed and lastly Kanteerva Stadium was selected.

you are all hypocrites. The first day of all other language movies are mostly visited only by kannadigas. Else why should the Kannada Film Chamber of Commerce restrict the number of prints to be displayed. A film to attract patrons need not have glamor and foreign locations. It needs stories and good actors. I am sure, you are aware, few of late Rajjkumar's movies ran for two years, to full house in one theater in majestic area and even a few years ago it was re-run in the same theater and ran again for a full year. Dont judge by this that, the people who watched the said movie are fools. Instead they were dignified patrons having cultural and family values.

If you are born and brought up in Karnataka and employed in Karnataka and know many things about Karnataka then why are you trying to find Only faults of Karnataka or kannadigas? Your attitude shows you are in karnataka only for money and you cant use your knowldege for some good cause.
Just show any famous tamil writers photo or Sardar Vallabha bhai patels photo to ordinary tamilian and ask, result will be the same. Not only in KTK or TN every corner of India it will have the same effect. Some people does not know the importance of kannada rajyotsav means you want to tell that you are the only knowledgable person in Karnataka message board?
