Yes, a great film maker is jailed and you write some crap about Indian new channels.....your name suits you...why not a law against this column and jail you for atleast 6 years, to give you a taste of your own medicine

I totally agree with you. The news channels makes a lot out of nothing. The indian news channels have opinion but no truth. Based on the opinion, they come out with stories and the truth remains silent. Moreover they are so much biased towards political parties and in the process they go to personal level against the unbiased people. So they ruin peoples life just to compete with other channels. But the truth is always hidden.

Freedom Of Expression
by harish on Dec 21, 2010 03:23 PM  | Hide replies

What about the freedom of expression of an artist? Why should countries curb that? It's sad that this is happening in a nation like Iran which has a wonderful past. Iranian films are very good. Once you start watching Iranian films then you wouldn't want to see anything else. Iranians don't deserve the rulers they have. They deserve something better. It's a travesty of justice that an auteur who has won Camera d'Or and Golden Lion should be jailed for making a film. The whole artists fraternity should condemn this and try to coerce them from revoking this decision

Iranian films are good, but they are the most snooty and snobbish people in the world. The rest, living in god-foresaken places, are religious fundamentalists that spit on the graves of non-muslim heroes such as Prithviraj Chauhan.

In short, half of the iranians, who can think, are haughty (may be because they can think) and the other half are intellectually challenged

Lawyers

The Lawyers in countries like Iran have the easiest jobs in the world. In fact, Lawyers are there just for a formality, just to show that "hearing" have taken place. The judgements are almost predetermined and as per the whims and fancies of the judges.
