Stars cant justify their rates none of them are worth what they are getting paid for. Producers employing cheap labour from north ignoring local technicians from all caste and religion. This is how the god punishes people who are selfish and greedy. Only way to fix the problem is overhauling the ethics and norm of making films. Minimum pay scale which is decided by respective unions should be enforced. Any non payments should result in stalling or delaying the release of the film till everyone is paid. Crs are spent in making films, but the producer never has money to pay poor technicians. These same producers have started training institutes, charging in lacs and promising employments to these students. If you ask these students you will know the truth. 99 percent of them are jobless. Now the only option before them is to work at ey low rates and compete with outsiders. Its a sad senario in bollywood. Good these copycat producers are suffering losses now. I appeal to all the Indian cinegoers keep it up boycott these copycats and communal producers who are forcing us to spent 500 rs for their third grade films.
