Masterpiece craft of dreams and imagination. I was complete lost once came out from theatre here in INOX (Mumbai) I mean although it was raining heavily and i was walking thru marine lines just could not recover and it took atleast good 45 minutes to bring back to deception. Amazing stuff may be the weather and atmosphere adds glory to watch first day second show. Waiting for another series !!
That may be a little too much. Inception is better than most summer blockbusters, but that is a low bar. Like how we Indians say, it is a good and enjoyable masala movie. Memento was much more nuanced.
Well, we should enjoy what we are dished out considering the other fare.
As if the movie wasnt irritating enough, not to mention boring, with a non existent plot and so-called intelligent screenplay, even more irritating are the people(esp those from the IT sector) claiming to have understood it, thus slyly making a pathetic attempt to show off their so called intelligence. I thoroughly enjoyed Dark Knight and Memento, but this was 2 hrs of my life wasted. And In reality, most of us understood the basic concept(Different people dreaming at different levels), but the sequences were way too confusing and left us with far too many queries than answers. While I am all for intelligent cinema, the main purpose of any movie is to entertain when you go out on a weekend. Like many others, I fell for all those big names, and ended up regretting the experience.

Lady, without any offence, I guess you should stick to Harry Potter series.
I just loved Inception, and it was perhaps after a very long time that I found a film so engaging, that the interval was feeling like a bad timed break.

"In reality, no one understood a thing! " .....Well......They may have or they may not have but you definitely havent. I have a theory. I believe that a person will not enjoy something that he or she isnt used to or cannot comprehend. Thanks for confirming this.

Do u rembr the story "The Emperor's New Clothes"?? Inception is somewhat similar. Everyone knows the Emperor is naked, no one has the courage to call him one.

imagination at it's best.....wonderfuly crafted movie....dream with in a dream....conflicting reality with dream....challenging limits of dream and reality....wow.....bit of disturbing stuff....takes a bit of time to understand...but....if u are realy imaginative and know a thing abt hollywood stuff like this...a real gem of a movie... not as tricky as matrix series....quite understandable.....when the top spins ..it's a dream.....when it stops ..it's a reality ....that's the "funda" of this movie... and entire movie starts and ends in a 10 hour flight....and it's a dream..!!!! exciting...creativity at it's best..!!!!

Ms Nisha, you should wait for a while. The beginning of January 2011 will see the release of "Yamla Pagla Deewana", a movie which brings generations of Deols together. I am sure you will enjoy that movie. Best of luck !!
