The IFFK is perhaps the best-conducted film festival in India. The quality of both the films and the viewers are very high and there are usually some very pertinent discussions taking place in the various forums during the festival. It still remains a mystery as to why Goa was selected as the permanent venue of the IFFI despite having no film culture.Being a great tourist destination is one thing, while being a good venue for a film festival is entirely a different kettle of fish.
