It must be a person from somewhere North that is why he has commented like this
Even this year Malyalam film industry got maximum number of National Awards, and all the films are original. Kannada films are largely copy cat, and Tamil film industry is politicised.

I agree with you in some sense , but I leave it to the fact that some art films dont cut to my taste . I saw the movie and didnt find it much enterataining , but Mamooty was good and the whole idea of Shaji creating was remarkable - he recreated a 1700 Kerala - such art works needs to be appreciated because those are the ones that can create gem of a movie . I dont belittle this effort from Shaji but looking forward to better movies .

sorry you cannot understand the subtle statements that shaji is making of religious fanatiscism .this high art , not like cheap hindi movies that talk against fanatiscism
Seems to be written by someone who has absolutely no idea about the films released... There were good n entertaining movies like Cocktail,Elsamma etc which goes completely missing from the list.. Happy Husbands was another top grosser.. Also missed out on decent entertainers like Malarvadi Arts Club and Apoorva Ragangal
