Kutty Sranku could have been better ,it was visually good ,great perfomance from Mamooty and some of the co stars,but as a movie it was just going nowhere,I would term it as an average movie...what was the director trying to convey in this movie? same goes for Mummy and Me ...currently malayalam movies have run out of good scripts...they have to choose these movies because these are comparitivily better than the others released this year...so you can imagine how bad the others should be ..the days of Padmarajan,Bharthan,scripts by MT Vasudevan Nair all are just a memory....really sad
Except Mummy and Me,all other movies are brilliant movies.Box office collection is not a criteria for selection of good movies.Instead of Mummy and me,'Yugaprushan' can be included.Mummy and me is a usual film.In my opinion 'pranchiyettan' is the best movie of the year.if mummy and me is included,We can also include movies like pokkiri raja and happy husbands
Meghna George says that except for these films all the rest sank without a trace. The fact is that even Kutty Srank, Aatmakadha, and T.P.Dasan, Std VI B were no great shakes at the Box office despite being good films. Where as an out and out commercial film like Anwar and films with fresh faces like Malarvadi Arts Club fared well at the Box Office. Is Ms.Meghna reporting from some maoist-infested jungles of Jharkhand?

Mr Ganesh Kumar Tamil movies became tamil movies only because of actors from other states or else Tamil movies would have been a sap. Many actors as well as actresses are still from neighbouring states from andhra, kerala, and Karnataka to some extent from North. This means that all Tamils look like monkeys are not they, they remake most of the malayalam films. The films of Rajnikanth are all remakes of Amithab Bachan and others superstars of South. There are also good technicians, and filmakers from Kerala. So u have to wonder how wonderful Kerala is despite of its small size, but having 100% talent in all fields. So do not make unknowing comments like this anymore in any place, we all belong to one place called India and need each other okay

The above people have a very bad mind about Kerala. Please think one thing, we all belong to one country called Indian. If the persons who have not watched malayalam films pls do not comment it badly for heaven sake
