In my view first part was better than second, Ramu again failed to deliver with this fascination of Suirya, tamil hero giving him meaty role, same story with Mani Ratnam who is fascinated by Aishwarya result is Raavan. Problem with Ramu is, he was well with the direction for some time and this fascination of Urmila, other heroines who are often seen his films, and he is fascinated by Amitabh giving him flop film which was remake of sholay(I do not remember name of this film), I saw his (Ramu) interview today where he looks like sometimes intelligent, funny, somtimes irritating, rude. My suggestion to Ramu and Mani ratnam is go by the story and direct the films, these are good directors follow the good story do the direction, without fascinated or infactuated by heroines they like, people they like. Shankar is different than these directors though he much junior to them, who only do commercial films based on the story.
Though Ramu kind of philosophy, highlighting killers or either following his rule of film making is not good to the people to see as whole, but still there is much more violence or killings happening in this world, but do not make killers who kill people with no valid or much human reason should not be highlighted as main characters, My suggestion to Ramu and Mani Ratnam is to go by the story and direct the films, after all films are only for entertainment or a point of view of small number of people.

same story with this bollywood fascinated child. who knows nothing abt cinema as an artform, and always thinks that it is for entertainment. I dont know when KJo followers will know actually what is a film. Do they have atleast experienced one good performance art like Bharathnatyam, and enjoyed it?
Pls dont judge RC2 on the basis of this crap review. I saw the movie this morning. When I eneterd the theater I really had no expectations as I did not like RC1, but I was totaly taken back & surprised by the way the movie is made. Its a very good movie, not RGV's best, but still it stands on its own.
given such a low rating to this movie by raja sen is itself a merit to this movie ...........i will definitely go and see this one as part 1 was awesome.

i completely agree with you, this film is based on true story happened in Rayalaseema Andhra Pradesh. Director made such a brave attempt by touching sensitive real life political characters in this movie. Everyone in Andhra Pradesh know all the characters of the movie in real life.
Useless movie review with out doing any kind of research behind it....shame on reviewer
any body seen the movie in tamil how is it, in telugu the movie is rocking part 1 & 2 both surya is superb in the movie emotions are really good thnx RGV for a movie....
I am yet to see the movie, but thinking what a stupid review it would be as all those who have given comments are appreciating the movie. What is rediff Management doing ?

My friend, Rediff employs people who are rejected everywhere else. That is why all the new items/articles in Rediff have these basic mistakes.
If Rediff takes out this user comments forum no one will be on this site

i strongly agree with you.if rediff says movie is unworthy,it means the movie is good.
Incidentally, only REDIFF & NDTV have given this movie such a low rating.. Taran Adarsh says this is one of the best movies of the year, some say its the best movie of the decade. Surya's performance is the best of his career.
