The problem in Telugu film industry is that there is a lot of personality worship, fan associations and sometimes these are driven by the caste of the actor etc. Chiru is a great actor but not all his movies are good. A lot of times his diehard fans make sure the movie doesn't become a flop even if the movie is autrocious. Ever watched Venkatesh movies? This guy wears horrible colour combination dress and all this to make his fans happy. Strange things happen as people become celebrities in AP. They are treated as demi Gods and problem occurs when it gets into their heads.
In Andhra Pradesh the biggest jokers are Balayya and Chiranjeevi. Balyya is acting, dialogue delivery and dances are a big joke, even comedians are better actors than him When comes to Chiranjeevi he was king of telugucinema until he plunged into politics. From the day of his entry into politics till date every act of his has been ridiculed by media and also people. He is chicken hearted and is totally unfit to politics, he does not have clarity about the subject he is speaking and therefore fumbles. The biggest embarassment for any politician is fumbling or messing up while he/she is giving a speech or a lecture. Chiranjeevi makes a statement and the very next day he retracts. He has done this many a time.

If ever I watch Balaiah movies, I watch with a bunch of my firends at home and we crack jokes on Balaiah and laugh at his dialogues and dances.
