The decision of the M'rashtra Government buckling under MNS/SS pressure to force multiplex owners in Mumbai to screen only Marathi films during prime time is against the Constitution of India and against a citizen's fundamental rights. Who compensates for the loss of revenue of the multiplex owners be- cause everyone knows Marathi films are nowhere a big draw as Bollywood films, except for an occasional hit. I hope someone files a PIL petition in the SC soon. How can the local govt act so spineless ?

Hi Friend, I think you have read some wrong news in wrong newspaper. Maharashtra Govt. has not pressurised any multiplex in screening Marathi Films. It is a rule that all those theaters whether multiplex or single screen who are taking or asking Govt. concessions, they have to follow this rule. Those theaters who r not taking concession it is not binding on them. For example in Pune Esquare have one multiplex in Kharadi (they have total in Pune) which is not taking concession from Maharashtra Govt. so it is not binding on them and Govt. has also not pressurising them. So my brother i request you to please check your facts.

@Globalcrusador, This an issue pertaining to Maharashtra & Marathi films. You please restrict yourself to Bihar & Bhojpuri films.
