If the movie is as good as the reviewer says, then it must b made a hit. The success of good movies can only save malayalam movie industry from doom. People must giv more priority for te content and quality rather than the names atached to it. I am dissappointed t see TD Dassan failin to cash in at BO.

A good movie which did not succeed financially, may have been due to lack of marketing.

Awesome movie.. Kudos to Sreenivasan and Shafna for their acting excellence. These films fail not only due to lack of marketing. But also due to the depth lessness of the Malayalees. They seem to be interested more in comedy, that too low standard comedy. Also added to that is the major diasater affecting Malayalm film industry, the Mega-star syndrome. People just are not ready to watch other worth-while films, and still go and watch low standard films of Mega-stars. Even I like the acting of the megastars, but after all its film that has to be given value.
Malayalam industry is gonna keep failing until we viewers try to put some sense in our tastes. Otherwise more directors will start making crap films and no one will be there to take such good films and we would be left with no choice, but to watch crap films or watch good films in other languages.

This is one best movies i have seen in recent times.. i agree to saji.. that our audience are after cheap comedies.and they might have avoided this movie thinking this as a melodrama.. but this is far beyond that.. it is a greatly inspiring movie... its a pity that this film has not done well in box office and crap movies like china town are still running full house
