Hollywood and the western media are quite hypocritical. They put her on the cover of magazines but don't give her any meaty roles themselves for the same reason as the Indian film industry - color of her skin! Let's face it, that's the sad reality even in this day and age! Aishwarya was given much more opportunity in Hollywood coz she looks like one of them for the most part. Its sad that she can't act to save her life or she could have gone places!
But Freida may have the calibre to be the next Smita Patil or Nandita Das... but that would require her to compromise on money and take up roles in smaller, independent films. Given the glamor quotient she is currently associated with, I doubt she is going to do that.
Freida is too 'pint' size to be successful in India. They need to have some flesh and meat on the ladies; big ones in front and behind. Without them and with her petite figure, she's not going to succeed in Bollywood.
pinto looks just like a slum girl. also who care about size zero in india. she got no buubs also worth mentioning. she might get the sympathy factor going her way in the western media.
