M shocked to c Peepli LIVE produced by our very senior and so-called perfectionist Amir. Indian farmers have always lived in petiful manner, I know Amir is a urban guy and have no time to see a daily struggle of an Indian farmer, maybe he is familiar with the American farmers since every now and then he is desperate for an oscar!!
It may be slow movie, but it conveys the message. Its very realistic movie and well maid. Kudos to first time director and Amir.
Amir never said its a commercial movie. But he picked up the great subject and conveyed it nicely. These media person's makes some stories sensational, while they miss the real issue. Other farmers were dying, they didn't focus on that. They were just worried about TRP.
We are living in a Era of Marketing where 3rd rate movies are praised and shown as Hits. Looking forward to a day when good directors,Actors,writers,singers and technicians emerge.
