I am unable to understand the phrase used by Julia as practicing Hindu because the measure of it is to go to a temple every week or so...
Hinduism does not require you to go to a temple or pray god unlike Christian or Muslims.
It is a way of life and is expected to reflect in every doing of an individal.
You go to temple regularly and then flout every principal of being Hindu in day-to-day life you become Raavan, knowledgible but terrible.
It is important that as a Hindu you must fulfil your obligation to yourself, your near ones and the society at large in a way the keeps alive principal of LIVE and LET LIVE.
If you do that without going to temple you still are a Hindu.
