rajni kant and chiranjeevi are self made first generation actors who made it big due to their enormous talent, sheer grit and hard work. both of them work relentlessly for social causes. chiranjeevi had started an eye and blood bank, so far sponsored more than ten thousand corneal replacements. rajnikant donates most of his earnings to charity and social cuases like drinking water, sanitation and health in poor slums areas. no wonder they are humble. on contrary, look at hindi film industry, especially look at any khan, they look like women, dress like in between, and you will never see them participating (forget funding) in any social causes. they are arrogant and rowdies, much to what they are on screen. that is why, south indian film industry is recognised as the best in the world, and not hindi industry. hindi industry simply apes all successful south indian films. look at pokiri, now being remade with some khan, look at ghazni, and you will also see almost all successful films of kamal hassan were re made with anil kapoor. and the silver lining to the cloud is nayakan, where vinod khanna could not live up to even a fraction of the finesse of kamal hassan. you fellows shoul know to respect talent and humanity.

endhiran is produced by one of the biggest production house this movie is directed by one of the best director in india, music by 2oscar winner, and actor is the highest paid and has the biggest fan base... endhiran songs already in top UK and US charts. within 2 hours all the cds are sold out..
but some jobless morons who think themselves very intelligent and start commenting about shankar's film making and rahman's music ..

you are right... but Rajni (the name) was born in Tamilnadu... and he achieved hisdemi-god status here in Chennai after "Basha". Hence he is as Tamil as he is Marathi, or should I say bit more Tamil than Marathi??
