But the saddest part is, it was remaked with lots of mistakes and useless ideas. Dithering the comedy of the orginal version
i hv seen houseful after all the hype that was created and it was a terrible experience. i couldnt even laugh or even smile even in one single scene. it was that bad. i mean how long can the directors just shoot somewhere abroad and just cast a hero who has a huge fan follwing and then heroines coming out of the sea in bikinis and have no story in it. i mean common guys what an idiotic climax and so unrealistic .i agree cinemas are never real but not even so untrue. I WANT MY MONEY BACK and i mean it. it was hell like experience . and i akshay please do some cinemas which make sense . i loved u in namastey london but after that kambakth ishq, cc2c , etc., were hell . and as far as the money being collected ,it will bring huge profits afterall it has akshay deepika in a bikini and all the hype . its high tym cinmeas like dis should nt be made

Archana.., i dont agree with you... because if the film is that bad then it should have crashed in the first week like blue, kambakkht ishq. You know that blue and KI both are average earners in the box office but housefull have already been declared "HIT" because the film is far more better than blue and KI. I can understand that u dont liked the film but the majority or masses have liked the movie.

Sumit, that is the problem these days. People have gotten used to such horrible and low-taste and senseless comedy that they enjoy it. Watch the old comedy movies like Coolie No.1, Dulhe Raja, Chupke Chupke (Dharmendra one), Baadshah (SRK), and lots more, and then compare this with those. Then you'll understand what the case is these days with these comedies.. And scenes like the monkey-slapping, vacuum cleaner, electric shock-induced dance scenes simply make you feel embarrassed that this is what is being made these days..
As you know the buzz around you and it's not hidden that Housefull has collected 62 crores net in India in its second week and it collected 5.75 crores in the third weekend. Now here's some interesting fact, Rediff gave Housefull 1 star out of 5 and it's business is 5 star out of 5. Now here's my suggestion to you stop being an anti-akshay, do critisize bad films not akki.

Infact the Net Total of 3 weeks is now round 70 Crore...and who dont like the movie i thank have bad sense of humour coz the mvie was really gud...infact il give it 3.5/5

Have you seen the comedy movies of the 80s and the 90s? Go watch them, then compare this crap with those, then again think who has got a bad sense and a good sense of comedy..

I thought otherwise and watched Housefull this week. Its all hype craeted by media.. It's a very bad film..All old stale jokes ..Unnecessary forced characters.. Chunky pandey was only saving grace.. Never thought i will be so disappointed by a Akshay kumar comedy film. Singh is king was way better than this one. Total bakwaas movie. How will u get laugh at same old ghisa pita "kanta bai" stuff and some old PJ's. Even the biggest Akshay kumar fans will not like this movie. I think Right ya Wrong was very well directed with brilliant acting but media never hyped it.

Alok jee the film is not that good than expected still it's an entertaining film. My rating for housefull is 3/5. But the review given by rediff is way too much.
I liked the movie and the public were indeed laughing and enjoying throughout...i guess its the public finally who decides which movie is a hit or flop...Its a family entertainer...go for it...trust me.

its a good movie and a good entertainer...raja has proved he is still insane..and a bid chamcha of SRK...box office collections have been huge and even the 3rd weekend was great....either raja is a fool or millions who have watched the movie n njoyed... dont go by this stupid rediff review n comments..

firstly, i read the review and droped the plan to watch it. but yesterday, just, went for the movie. And the experience was awesome. everybody was laughing there (except the ending of movie). enjoyed the movie a lot...
Housefull is remake of Kamal's tamil movie Kadhala kadhala. Looks like Akshay follows kamalhaasan movies. Previous movie Kambhat Ishk was a remake of Pammal K sambandam. Both the movies were hit in tamil. But in hindi they are super flop. Sajid, you can't even copy properly?

Who told Kambakht Ishq and Housefull are flops...Infact all Kamal Hassan's movie's were superflops in india and he is therefore got one tight kick on his back..stupid actor Kamal Hasan....Mumbai Express ha ha ha

ha ha ha, Kamalhaasan and stupid actor? do you even know the meaning of acting? does anyone among the current generation even know the kind of acting that kamal has done? Watch Sadma and many of his Tamil films like 16 Vayathinile, Hey Ram, Virumandi, Appu Raja, Salangai Oli, etc. All u know is Mumbai express, ha ha. Stupid Bollywood chamcha!

I can't believe finest actor like Kamal hassan acted in such a bad movie..
They have hijacked the story line from the tamil film, starring kamal hassan and prabhu deva. the tamil version which released 10 years back, was a smashing hit. but in the hindi version, they have messed up with screen play
