His movies are rated best in the world. France agency has rated one of his movies in the 100 movies to watch. I recently saw his movie Bara, starring Anant nag. Wonderful movie. Looking forward to this.

the movie baraha was shot entirely here in Bidar. Its about an honest DC coming to terms with a small town happenings. That story was set in 60s-70s. Now in 2009 we have a DC who has totally changed the landscape of this town with his single minded dedication. Somebody who would have left Bidar two years back will not recognize the town. The story shows how an uncompromising official can make things happen. It happened here.

me too watched BARA at mysore dasara film festival. Cost of the ticket was Rs5 but Movies was worth more much more. Superb movie
