Another CRAP masala...
by david jebaraj on Apr 30, 2010 04:18 AM  | Hide replies

Sure it will have ateast 3 villians, 4 fight, 1 build-up song, 3 kuthu song, 1 melody, 5 comedy scenes, 3 sentiment scenes, little bit romance and the leg shake of Vijay.. This is what his forumala from thirumalai, gilli, madurey, tirupaachi, sivakasi, aadhi, pokiri, kuruvi, villu, vettaikaran... Sure it is going to continue in Sura, Kavalkaran and whatever nonsense he is going to act... Vijay fans should realise that the above elements alone can't make a cinema, it is mainly dependant on different theme, interesting story, plot and inteligent screenplay.. In such a movie the actor should portray his character... Only that can be consider as Movie and they can be consider as actor.. Not this holy shit.. Actors in Mani's & Gatham's movie already doing this and none of them are showing their mass image... His fans should agree the below statement.. Acting is always doing what the character demands.. It is not building a character called VIJAY with different name and repeating the same old non-sense, crap, shit...

Sir, Please do not give a generalized statement like this. This is the place where legendary actors like Kamal Haasan,Mohanlal,Mamooty exist. If you are not aware of that, better go and refresh your knowledge on film industries. Otherwise there is no meaning to post such funny things. Also, please post something in English so that everyone can understand.

All Vijay movies are same...so watch one Vijay movie...that is enough for your life time...there is no need of watching again and again the same crap movie...Just they are cheating people by changing title and heroines...And short memory m@d people(Vijay fans) forget to remember this...

Some die hard Vijay fan is pained to see teasing and criticisive comments on Vijay here that he is coming under different names like 'vettaikaaran' and 'sura' and is trying to defend Vijay as much as possible. And he is taking on directors like Mani Ratnam and Gautham Menon and calling them 'boring' just to lift up Vijay's image. Blind fanaticism at its peak. Vijay enna unakku maamana machana (is Vijay your uncle or your brother-in-law for you to defend him like this). Even if Vijay does 1000 Ghilli's (his best film), he cant come near directors like Mani Ratnam or Gautham Menon. Hell, even Shankar (the best commercial director and one time assistant of Vijay's dad) is not interested in casting Vijay.

Actor who relies only on his fans and not acting
by Vishagh VG on Apr 29, 2010 11:28 PM

If you watch his movies closely ( well to admit I did that ) he survivies every film with his 3-4 expressions. That's all. Still he was lucky enough to be the so called "Ilayathalapathy! badshah of south-Dr.Vijay". This one will also will be the same Old one in New bottle. And cheers to so lucky "so called actor".

the most authentic website behindwoods.com has said that suraa songs have become huge blockbusters. will u anti-vijay fans still don't agree to that?in my area people are making plans to be at the theatre by 3:30 a.m, tomorrow coz show starts at 5:30 a.m. the excitement to watch the emperor on big screen in his magnum opus, is indeed very irresistible.suraa is going to break the record of ghilli and emerge as the biggest blockbuster in south film industry.

Yes, Vijay will beat the likes of DiCaprio, Pitt, Hoffman, etc and be the biggest emperor in the world. Everybody will come and fall at his feet and take blessings before they do movies. Kelambu machi, kaathu varatum (stop your nonsense)

I dont like Ajith too. But he is far better! He wants to do good films. He has been in talks with Gautham Menon and Vetrimaaran. What did Vijay do? When Gautham Menon came up with a love story, he gave Thirupachi/Sivakasi DVD's and asked Gautham Menon to add masala elements from those films to his love story. Gautham Menon makes movies with Hollywood inspiration no doubt, but his films are hugely entertaining and are of a different class altogether. Vijay's films can only be enjoyed by his section of the audience (that too, is going down).

Look at the versatility of Vijay in choosing different roles in each of his movies. After playing different roles like cycle mechanic, scooter mechanic, bike mechanic, car mechanic, he has now taken the role of a fisherman... Great progress ;)

Still Now, Vijay is a Mass Hero. He has not opted to do different roles. If you want a film with different plot, go watch the other movies (there are so many directors recently come up with that kind of movie). But this is a typical masala film, taken for a mass audience. If you want watch it, otherwise go and check your own progress....

Oh really... Do you think I will spend money and go through the torture by watching his movies ??

Let me ask you one question. Let him act in 10 such stupid movies and make loads of money. But just for the sake of cinema which has given him so much fame, can't he act in one good movie out of 10 commercial movies, ignoring the money.

Success ??? Dude he hasn't had any success for a long long time... Go check who is the loser.

Your hero doesn't even have the guts to change himself. He is even worse than Simbu, who atleast tried to be different and for a change acted decently in VTV. If you ever meet Vijay ask him to learn from atleast Simbu.

Greats like Manirathnam, Shankar are trying to take Tamil Film industry to next level. Actors like Vijay, Ajith are trying to take the industry backward by 10-15 years. Vijay, Keep up good work!!!!

Maniratnam made pathbreaking movies like Nayagan, Mouna Raagam and Anjali more than 20 years back. In that sense, Vijay, Ajit, directors like Perarasu are taking tamil cinema backward by atleast 40 years.

Agreed, both Vijay and Ajith who started off with decent films have completely spoilt Tamil cinema with their rut of mass masala movies. Now every Tom, Dick and Harry does such films and mainstream Tamil films are a laughing stock in the world. Its directors like Maniratnam, Gautham Menon, Vasantha Balan, Radha Mohan, Shankar, etc who keep the flag of TC flying high. Even Prakashraj - though he acts in masala films, he uses all that money to produce quality films like Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum.

tamannah indeed is very very lucky to act alongside the reigning box office badshah of south-Dr.Vijay. she is even more lucky to be in his landmark 50th movie.already the songs have turned to be huge chartbusters. sura has broken the record of advance booking collections. so suraa is a sure shot winner all the way.
