I am a Bengali from Kolkata. But I have watched many (sub-titled) movies of Vikram. He is truly one of the brightest talents of this country. No wonder Mr. Ratnam could not resist the temptation of using his super stardom for the Tamil version and his skill for the Hindi one.And I believe the only other actor who could have pulled it off is Mr. Kamalhassan, at his prime.

'Better' is a word which can be used for things which are measurable, eg, a 100mts race. Not something where five different actors can do the same role in five different ways. Lets just celebrate our talented Indians rather than regionalising them.

god bless vikram for what you lunatic? for acting in a movie? you people are the reason for idol worshiping actors. The movie has not yet come out and you claim your side of the appreciation. You must have some sympathy for this vikram piece of garbage. Vikram may be one of the actors in tamil and does not mean he has to be blessed by god! God bless people who watch him!

u hv nt seen his films , see the way he developed his career .. he struggles more than 10 years to get enter in the industry wid his small roles in movie . u should appreciated some one like his hard work nd dedication he has put in .. if u hv nt seen much of his movie then dont comment .. leave the space for ppl who loves universal movie

mani ratnam has become a lunatic.... cant he find some one else seperately for the hindi and tamil/telugu films of raavan. vikram must have become mad acting for a crack director.

Every actor wants to do this. Act in Bollywood and reach to a wider audience, do the more challenging role in Tamil and get appreciated. And if Mani is a lunatic, then we love lunatics.
There is no doubt that Vikram is a superstar than Abhishek which bollywood is well aware of the fact.. Hope the Hindi audiences would soon realize the same...

Abhishek has to learn lot of acting before actually acting in movies... since he is the (AB)superstar son, the whole of hindi audiences carried him as another superstar which is absolutely inflammatory...there are great talented actors out there and their recognition is out of reach to the masses...

Even Arjun Rampal and Saif got national award but that does not mean they are great actor national award is got by lobbying not by talent

See the Tamil film Pithamagan for which vikram got national award and then you will know what is acting.
