When I realize that this is the person, who earns more than any actor in India, who is praised like a God, who helps everyone, who has guts to appear without any make up even though his image in movies is something different, I bow to him. Hats off to you, Sir. You are the real superstar.

Reading the innumerable messages proclaiming the greatness of north Indians over their southern counterparts, and vice-versa, it's not difficult to imagine why India never managed to put on a united front before invaders in history. Personally speaking, I don't find Rajni a handsome man, but he is a truer hero than many six-pack, muscled characters in Bollywood because of his innate humility and charitable activities. This man doesn't care about his on-screen image when interacting with his fans - of how many Bollywood stars can you say the same? As regards his movies, granted they are often improbable, but since people see and enjoy them, why shouldn't he continue making them? If Hindi-speaking people want to see the acting capabilities of South superstars, they may look up Chachi 420 (Kamal Hassan) and Company (Mohanlal). However, I can't find good points in all South heroes, such as Vijaykant, Dhanush, Simba, etc. Whatever be your opinions individually, try not to become parochial and racist in your comments. Remember the simple fact - you are all Indians.

The idiots who write divisive here are some paki mullahs trying to look smart and making us look not too good. Dont read too much into the retarded cesspool of the divisive.
I remember at an award function, Shahrukh and Karan Johar were asking him absurd questions, this humble gentleman responded to them in polite way. He is no doubt the greatest and the humblest actor in the Indian film industry!
Normally I would comment on every south indian hero, but not this guy! I respect him too much! he is definately way above our Amitabh, who has no guts to take off his wig in public! People should learn from Rajni how to separate reel and real life! Hats of Ranji sir!!

Movie is a bussiness, hero acts in a way to impress his regional audience who bring money to the producer, he doesn't have to impress every tom dick and harry from other states..understand the business and the reason behind before criticizing his acting skills...if he acts/ behaves normally his fans won't the adrenaline rush after seeing him on screen ... that is the only reason they come to watch movies...to get excited..so are we...

Manmohan singh when he started international meeting with Japan spoke abt Rajini... Rajini is so far the only star to have been published in CBSE books for a short eng story... Forget he is tamil hero etc , his movies does 20-25cr business in AP and also in KArnataka,kerala everywhere
