U left engineering & IIT to fulfill ur dreams shows you are dreamer, joining FTII shows u r practical, badi building banane ke liye NEENV jaroori hai, than u join Sanjay Bansali...it shows ur class...I have no doubt on your talent...my advice to you:Film making is story telling, like Grandma telling to grand children...its the STORY which is important not the medium , medium can be changed from radio to newspaper to tv to cinema, but its the story we have to convey to the people not the medium, thats the mistake most of makers doing these days, including sanjay bansali, i believe sanjay bhansali has the capability to create great films, but simplicity is missing...see the simplicity in Bimal da, hrishikesh mukerji films ...even in period films if you watch sohrab modis.dont follow any rules or methods...walk in the night on the beach and visualise what u want and do it with passion...thats important... I am sorry i start taking your PAATHSHAALA ha ha just joking all the best for your film and future...Amit S.K.
If it is not like Tare Jameen par then muct be like Parichay, Mohabateein, and many more other student - principal movies... Nothing new... Bollywood is short of stories... be realistic... Same storie can be made in a better way ..
