Muthina Thorana is a pain for me
by Raghavendra Adiga on Sep 24, 2010 10:02 PM

I am one of those unfortunate ones who is forced to listen to Vaishali's worthless family serial called Muthina Thorana just because it is aired during dinner time and my family members watch it - for the exact same reason that so many people watch other worthless serials.

I am shocked indeed that famed director's Girish Kasarvalli's family has to sink to abysmal levels of quality to make some cheap money by showing everyone the same old crap everyday. The same conversations with same irritating background music repeat for months together with no end in sight. Each and every character in the serial is awesomely uninspiring and jaded. I pity all the actors who are forced to repeat the same conversations and same story each and every day for the sake of money.

I understand Vaishali is aged and lost all originality, what's happening to these two clueless arrogant kids Ananya and her son who seem good for only destroying their father's name. I pray everyday that ETV will stop this nonsense and give others a chance. I am if they are serious, they will easily find far more talented people than this team which is just running a family business in the name of TV serial while criticizing others like Balaji Productions.

Im sure there's much better way to utilize your time. Wake up Indian woman, throw the garbage of these serials from Balaji films out of your houses.

laughable comment on the other serial maker
by nnms on Apr 11, 2010 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

Muttina torana is yet another crap serial, how could she attack some other serial maker when she herself directing one such serial which is light years away from 'common sense'? I think tn seetaaram, chaithanya(of kichchu fame one of best serials in indian television world, who later did aa dinagalu, suryakanthi) are those few who are doing some good job.

Drab serial
by Narayan Shastri on Apr 09, 2010 01:45 PM

This serial 'Muttina Torana' is really a drab serial. Many talented artists like KSL Swamy, Kishore Acharya are wasted in this mis-written, mis-directed serial. Vaishali should be given a job in Microsoft, as a writer of 'Error Messages'!

It is true that Kannada cinema's loss has been the gain of theatre and television. They reflect the two ends of the spectrum
