and all his movies are cool to watch..one should learn from him.. From Hindi to Tamil, Telugu to kannada nowadays the heroes and heroines go and dance in foriegn locations like the performers-beggers in traffic signals in india. Its disgusting to look. They think, if they ask some foreign extras to dance with them, they will look superior. its a cheap inferior mind set..

Does any Indian cricketer look like a Srilankan outside of Sreesanth?

Its stupid to say that Bollywood can shoot in Lanka and all Indians look like Srilankans

Huh? I think by that you mean dark skinned? Do you remember Vinod Kambli? J. Srinath (Karnataka)? V. Raju (Andhra)? How about S.S Das? Youhanna has dark skin, and he's from Pakistan.

Which country do you live in? Indians have almost every shade of skin colour except super-white (bordering on pink, like some north Europeans).

Arjuna Ranatunga can pass off as a northie, easily. How about Attapattu? Oh, but don't let me ruin your prejudices...

Srilankans do not look like Indians
by SaneIndian on Apr 01, 2010 06:48 PM  | Hide replies

Srilanks may look like Keralites or Tamilians. But they no way look like people above these states.

The closest to a Srilankan may be a south indian.

Clubbing the entire India with Srilanka is dumb.

You dont often se Aravinda Desilva/GuruSinga/Malinga/Fernando in North India.

ROFL

Srilankans are distinct from Indians.

Sri Lankan don't look like Tamils except the Tamils living in Sri Lanka.

Tillakarane Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, etc. look very much like North Indians.

In future almost all Indian films will be shot abroad
by iota on Apr 01, 2010 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

Even the ones which have India in the background and story.

Reason is - POOR LAW AND ORDER SITUATION IN INDIA.

You can gather 10 goondas, and attack anyone you like. Yesterday, MNS attacked foreigners shooting in Mumbai.

Such regional chauvanism is rampant in india, and its only going to increase.

MNS attacked foreigner cause they dint have the work permit to work in india. they were on tourist visa. Ofcourse they are not the law, but someone has to take the law in hands in this country. Paki singers come, sing and take the money. comedians, actors come and take the money on tourist visa while we line up infront of embassies. by the way i am not an MNS supporter.

Go to north east India -- for better shooting places
by anupam ghosh on Apr 01, 2010 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

In India there are so many undiscoverder places, the Indian companies should also help local economy by assissting to shoot in those places. I am sure the cost will be much cheaper in Indian places cause you are not paying for assistants from overseas and visa and other cost relevant in putting camp in an unknown place and being a doll in the hands of foreign guides.

It has nothing to do with cost directly.

When MNS or Rajasthan Karni Sena or Naxalite or some joker journalist attacks you - WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO.

In India, Movies, Celebrities are considered easy targets, and there is even public support for that. SHAME.
