SO even if they all live in the same home, it is a palace with enough room for everyone and more. Don;t know why Ms.Bachchan tries to make a big deal of it in the whole worl, especially with Letterman and Oprah.
In fact all rich families in Bombay prefer to live together, there is security in living together - the Mukherjees ,the Khans, the Kapoors.
Only the poor middle class who have one bedroom to share have to shift out of their parents's place.

It is the Americans who makes a big deal of it. Outside India it is too weird and rare for an adult to live with his or her parents. Even more rare if this adult is a successful professional.
