She will be remembered as a great singer, but will also be rememebred as a most selfish singer, who never wanted someone to come up, there are many who are if not better but close to her, but these old singers like her and her sister and the loser kishor Kumars son Amith all can't stand others success that is the shamefull part

She was a limited singer. Her voice breaks whenever there is lot of varations involved in the song or in high pitch. But managed to dominate and monopolise. Everyone was forced to appreciate her as she left nobody in the scene. Besides, in recent days, her pronouncation is like 6 year old child. May be she does so to compensate for the age of her voice. Asha was any day better than her.

But I did never say she is not a good singer. But not the best & perfect though. There were many singers who were as good or better in other aspects other than voice and overall better singers than her. But she monopolised by her hard negotiating tactics.

Are we going to get one more Lata after this Lata stop singing? Is she helping any upcoming singer to become a good singer like her? Has she started any academy to teach the upcoming singer the skills that she is having right now?
Or she will be more happy if no one can sing like her even after she stops singing?

You seem to be jealous and prejudiced for some reason(s) best known to you. Lata is a prodigy that get born in centuries. Her inborn talent cannot be transferred. Training only grooms what you already possess. Long live Lata!
simplicity and indian-ness with which Lata Ji celebrates her birth day should be emulated by the masses in great numbers to preserve and propagate healthy indian traditions.Wishing Lata Ji, Good Luck for healthy and hilarious birth days year after year for a long time to come.
