For Big Directors.

If I am correct, for the last 10 years, all the movies directed by Suresh Krissna were flops.
He has been using the same beaten-to-death formula for his movies. Where he shows a hero in a very silent role, hiding a big secret within himself, and his relatives and friends helping him to keep his cool.
Example of this formula.... Raghavendra in Telugu (remade into Hindi as Rocky), looks very similar to Basha (Tamil) and Master (Telugu). Daddy (in Telugu) similar again, with only change, a daughter and Dad relation being used.
A couple of movies like Asthram (remake of Sarfarosh), Idi maa Ashok gadi Love story, are really embarassing to watch.
Time has been changing, and you have to come out of your age. The experience you have in making movies, you should be experimenting with the should be a role model for al the new comers.

Situation is very similar with Director, P.Vasu, as well.

Actors too big for thier shoes
by UU on Sep 29, 2009 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

Priyamani is a fluke - she just doesn't fit the glamour roles- Bharath is th most over-rated actor - absolutely useless - too much of hype about Priya mani and Bharath - they look like fools in almost all the roles.

Playing some sense into the script.
by immanuel winfred on Sep 28, 2009 09:10 PM

It would be apt to say that some thought should have been given to the heart of film-making.. that would for me be the 'script'. It wouldn't be wrong to say that SK is not just "washed-over" himself but the days of living in somebody elses credits are over as it were to be compared to Basha and Annamalai..
