Lata in her own voice
by Rituraj Shrivastava on Sep 25, 2009 11:31 AM

That nostalgia of forties to sixties would remain as long as our generation. We get it in All India Radio Urdu and Vivid Bharti.

I wish it continues for as long as film music goes on even with younger lot.

Apart from Lataji, Shreya Ghoshal's voice has the power to touch the heart. Both are incredible and adorable in musical world.

The good old 70s, 80s and early 90s of melodious music is over...In this crap music era only hope is ARR, Pyarelal and Shankar Ehsan Loy. Hope they can bring more melodies.

That's a very big statement, Mahesh. The people you mentioned are, definitely, not comparable to the stalwarts mentioned in the article. But, NS, AM, KS and others gave some masterpieces as well.

Have you not heard all 80's music

80's was the crapiest music era. Some stupidist even then today.

Late 80's and 90's till 1994 was good music
