Think before writing

People actually dont think before writing. Old music is good and new music is crap is general feeling.

Ok how many movies have released in 1960. So by that logic each song in each movie is good which released in 1960 and no song is crap. Is that what you feel?

What we love in old songs is music which was released over a period of time and not at single music. And thoes songs we remember.

But if you listen to each song for that era you will found lots of crap songs.

Same is applicable for today. There are lots of crap songs but some songs are really good and they are one which people will remember.

No era is bad or good. Its just perception.

People who are born in 60's like 50's songs.People who born in 70's also miss the good old 60's and so on. We are humans and we always would think that old songs are better than new

Nothing to do with "nostalgia".
99% of today's songs are crap. Whereas 90% of 60's songs were melodious and hits. These songs had good lyrics, music and great signing by the playback singers in one take. Today's playback singing is relatively easier as singers need not even be together while doing a duet number. So the spontaniety is lost. For example, in old songs you can hear two voices signing together, now that is missing. We have some good singers today as well but not so good lyricists or music directors.

Nilesh, Sunidhi and Shreya grew up idolizing Lata. You just can't write nonsense about a Living Legend. I don't deny Sunidhi and Shreya and many others are very talented, but Lata is a Lata and it will be extremely difficult to outlive her legacy. She sang in the days of primitive recording facilities and gave us numerous classics. Please refrain from making such inglorious comments.

And... We love Lata NOT because she is OLD. You too will be OLD some day if you live long enough. We love Lata because she is a LEGEND and is Incomparable. Simply the Best!

The next upcoming voice that we could compare with Lata would be Shreya Ghoshal, she has the tone and softness for melodies which lata had in her voice..

I wish Ms.Goshal a very bright future and may her sing more n more !!!!!!

Even in dream she can't be compared.
At the most she can be her follower.
Shreya is a good singer while lata is a legend like sachin.
