There is no justice in our country
by Anand Krish on Sep 25, 2009 03:28 PM  | Hide replies

Rohit Monseratte son of a Goan minister was accused of rape by a 14 year old British girl. But the Police harassed the complaintant. The lawyer representing the girl was attacked and his fingers broken. Rohit was sent to mere 2 days Police custody and then given bail.

Law works differently for different persons.

Travesty of Justice!
by Ram Sharma on Sep 25, 2009 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

It is a monsterous travesty of justice that while there are quite a few legislatures having cases of murder to their discredit and other citizens charged with murder/terrorist activities roaming around freely and normally, Shiney is unable to get bail for a lesser alleged offence!

Hope it is not for want of provision of finance at the right places.
