Most of Indian movies not recognized globally because of Songs in the movies. Ppl out sided India can't digest the concept of having songs in the movie. Watch Italian movie, "Life Is Beautiful" (specially it's first half), it's more like any Indian commercial movie, but still it manages to get multiple Oscar nominations. It's lead actor got Oscar for his performance. So its' songs that global audience hate about the Indian movies.

Yea. Art is a casualty in ruthless commercialization of movies. Bollywood has become crapwood. And King Khan is the King of crap.
Re: Pokiri It is not a southern Hit

It is a Telugu superhit Pokiri - later remade in Tamil as Pokkiri. Get your facts right.
Just that Hindi is spoken throughout the country, otherwise these Bollywood films, barring only a few, are nowhere near the South Indian films that are way ahead in the content and presentation of a story in the film. No wonder all the actors want to work in south. No wonder that most of remakes have been of southern films including Aamir's Gajini. So let the Bollywood learn from the southren films, after all south is the intellectual capital of our country.
