Mr, Sajeesh himself tells that he is big fool by making such reply. Who told you that I have seen only pandi movies. I would have started watching Malayalam, tamil and hindi movies since before you born. I do not know you age, but from your statement, it clears that you haven’t seen much. Porbably, I would have seen more Malayalam movies of major stars than what you watched. If it is about Mohanlal, it is from ‘Manjil virinjapookal’. I didn’t say that mohanlal is not a good actor. The only very small negative I could observe is, he does roles as what he is really. So, at first a normal audient will feel that he is very flexible. But, if we take his many movies like, chitram, thalavattam, adhipan, dhasharatham , killukam, minnaram etc and many more, there is mono type performance. He made the audience to laugh, But did you see any big transformation in him…and other end mono type serial we can see in narasimham, aarumthampuram, thandavam like genre and a off beat in paradeshi (I vote of fancy dress here), vasthuhaara etc… But if we take, few other actors who is in best category, you can see that their personal mannerisms will be less influenced in the character they do in each films….One such brilliant example is Kamal. You can pick any of kamal sirs movie, no issues, if I list out those here, it wont end. That is the reason I told you, we cant compare mohanlal with kamal sir. Please don’t take it in a wrong sense dude…but that is fact.

I agree with Kamal. This was observed in CA, SFA etc..No other malayalam movies released these international screens. The first credit should go to shakeela, reshma etc in that category. I am not blaming mallu industry. But this is fact, because of the budget limitations and the fear to experiment new things in mallu films which lags. UPO will release in international screens , that is only because of the star value of kamal and not because of mohanlal, his movie may go well in kerala, kerala only, remember that. Almost all the kamal, rajani, SRK, amir movies will go international screens high. That is the fact, and try to digest with it.
Re: Is this suiting a great actor???

The article is biased, and the author name indicates why it is biased. We have the answer.
Another thing is - I don't imagine when some guys are comparing Mr. Mohanlal with Andavar kamalhaasan.
Of course, malayalam industry does have films which maintains reality(not always) and have a bunch of good actors. Mr Mohanlal is just one among them. don't try to compare mohanlal with kamal. He is nowhere suit to get the topic at all. Even in malayalam, have better artists than him like nedumudivenu, thilakan etc. Even the more ease and method actor mammotty is far best. His transformation from one role to another is wonderful as kamal and vikram do. Only one thing, please do not compare between actors, they are in different edges...
He is only , the only ulaganayakan , andavar kamal, thats all.
who is this mohanlal ? Is he eligible to get such an explanation which is given in the article. It sounds over biased and not at all meaningful. Kamal is extremely good, he proved it and south indians agree with it.
