why does rediff have people like nitya ramani??? she doesnt even know that pokiri is an originally telugu movie!!! and she speaks of copying asin and so on and so forth, Nitya Ramani stop trying to be an "INTELLIGENT" writer which you are NOT. rediff is becoming a lame site, no wonder people are looking for alternatives. a site which claims to cater to a worldwide audience has local writers like nitya ramani and others - so poor and a sure shot recepie for disaster. even the cricket score page on rediff sucks.

If its mistake by general public then its understandable, But if the journalists themselves are not having correct information, it shows their poor homework. And not all movies made in South are from Tamilnadu. Orginal movie is made in Telugu.

yes true..first the film was made in telugu with superstar mahesh which is a massive hit and created waves across the country, then it is remade in tamil.

For your kind info this telugu and tamil copy all are copied from the english movie " DONNIE BRASCO" , see that and u will know. so the orginal is english not telugu or tamil ok

Prabudeva is directing the Tamil version again in Hindi. So its actually adapted from the Tamil version, which was a remake of the Telugu version. They are asking the right question ONLY!

Hey ... I have watched both versions.Tamil movie is carbon zerox of telugu,including vijay's performance (He's a great copy cat :)).As the makers of tamil & hindi took the copy rights from telugu makers,It is wrong question.

All our films should be banned. They are copies of earlier films Our film makers are overrataed and our actors dont deserve any praise for acting. They are just heroes and heroines. Last 50 years nothing has changed but has become worst.
