In your response to Hindihindus watching porn:
Biggest example of 'Good Culture' is Mujras show in almost entire pakistan where families (bibi, apa, bhaijaan) see live lewd acts together and what happens afterwards is anybody's guess. Here people see only the movies, what say ;-)

Rediff is degrading itself by hiring such useless writers.I can't even call him a writer bcause he has written nothing.Fox is an OK movie and the suspense is quite good.

very soon people will be running away from rediff...

if rediff continues with totally brainless critics like the one for fox then people will be running away from rediff...
apparently writer is anti-sunny and on payroll of jihadis and traitor khans... so without seeing the movie he gave the verdict... typical swine mentality...

Is this Sarcasam or Cynicism?

Sometimes the Critics think he is Bigger than the Cinema and ends up running from pole to post. This is a perfect example of that

Worst review ever...
by ATANU SARKAR on Sep 04, 2009 05:04 PM  | Hide replies

Huh....is this a review? Syed firdaus Ashraf is one of the worst reviewers i have ever seen. He is just outright rude and just luvs blasting all movies...and giving a 1 star. He did the same to Shootout at lokhandwala which got decent ratings elsewhere, last week's love khichdi also which i heard is not so bad....
And i'm sure Fox should be an average one maybe...
And in any case....when u review a movie u have to write some points abt it....
While i appreciate his humorous intent at Q & A...he could've continued further after the Q & A session.......but this is just insulting to the director and the movie.
The movie 1-2 good songs ...something abt them...and def a lot to write....

I have been ranting about reviews being delayed by at least 10 days, so that producers recover their money. Now even if fox is a bad movie, the producer has trusted the writer/director and spent crores on advertising. He needs to recover that amount so that he can keep investing and one of them may turn out to be a damn good flick. The reviewer is not involved in the film making process. The reviewer has nothing to lose, no stake, nothing. Only qualification to be a reviewer is to have an opinion. In that case, why should one reviewer be allowed to write in a national daily or a newspaper. Plus that opinion may be matched by a miniscule amount of people. WHy come in between the film and the person who wants to watch it. Its not like we are breaking a FD account to be able to watch a flick. Whatever vomit you need to do about the film, do it 10 days later, when no one will bother, the way it should be.

Now that’s what I call a review. The reviewer is absolutely clear and I rate the review 10/10. Its precise and up to the point. Though I have not seen the movie but the one line review is enough for me to judge.
