From the look of it, it looks like the film APARAN in Malayalam by the late Padmarajan around 1988 ( I think). It was also a story about a man losing his job and his subsequently a lot of things in his life because of an imposter who happens to be his lookalike.
Looks like an interesting film. Like Mazhar rightly told the interviewer, there can only be two types of films.. Good or Bad. Can you merely lable films like Khosla Ka Ghosla, A Wednesday and Johnny Gaddaar as 'art' films? Did people not take to such films? Hope Mohandas is as good.
By the way, there was no mention of the leading man of Mohandas, although he appears in every picture in this article. Who is he? I have seen him in ad films as well as in some Ram Gopal Varma films.
