In oreder to make an wxisting line smaller, one has to draw a longer line. In order to weaken the violent and power seeking sects within Islam(there are few), one has to strenghten the moderate,peace loving and Allah-seeking sects within Islam (there are many).
Now rediff finds a connection between Rahul and Shahrukh. How can they kill the person who is one of them. Infact Shahrukh's residence Mannat is used as terrorists meeting place. He is also making a movie on how the terrorists are being harasses in USA.

Rediff - note this guy! This guy is trying to ward off the truth about SRK by making him sound like a terrorist. This guy himself might be a terrorist in disguise.

It is not Rahul; it is Rohit!
Rohit is the name that Hrithik Roshan adopted in most of his films just like SRK's Rahul and Amitabh's Vijay.
There is a specific reason for targeting Hrithik Roshan.
Mission Kashmir is primarily sponsored by RAW and Hrithik played prominent role of a Kashmiri youth preferring to take sides with India in the end; a message to all Kashmiri misled youth.
Moreover, Hrithik is the only potential threat to stardom to Khan Trio or Quadraplets.
Besides, Hrithik also has fallen out with BOmbay underworld who nearly eliminated his father some time ago.
Hrithiks rise has antagonised many in the Bombay underworld.
And LeT and Jaish being sponsored by ISI which has close links with Dawood and Mumbais underworld.
LeT and ISI also know that elimination of Hrithik can potentially cause communal riots in India as he is potentially seen a threat to the topmost slot currently occupied by the Khans!
