Mr. Mohanlal, Please stop your acting and do any other business. You can't reach upto standered level as Kerala people think. You are still doing cheaper role and not matching for a Best Actor. A best actor means he will be selective in role. You won't get best role because no producers and directors are trusting you.

Mohanlal is a legendary actor. Just watch his recent movies like Brahmaram & UPO and then comment. People like you have only the calibre to watch suraj venjarammoodu or jayasurya movie. Very pathetic..

I agree with you Krishna. Lalettan's calibre is unmatched. But why the hell does he choose such pathetic stories? Why doesn't he go beyond the lines drawn by the fans association guys, who regularly ditches him whenever he tries to do something different?

this movie can't be compared with classic like mayabazar,pattanathil bhootam,parunthu &love in singapore.Because in those films you can see intelligent acting from mammotty.i think this is the standrad level u r expecting.sorry only mammotty can reach that level
Come on, more than "Bruce Almighty," this is a straight copy of the English movie "It's a wonderful life." Angel coming to rescue our hero and settles scores with the local moneylender! All the wait for the movie gone wasted. I could've watched the original DVD instead!
Comparing a Malayalam film with a Hollywood flick is unfair, even if its a rip-off case. But this movie is a total disappointment, and I think Mohanlal has given up the ritual of going through a script that he is offered. It makes me feel raelly sad to see the plight of such a gifted actor, one of the best in India, to be acting in such mediocre films, with a message that's totally muddled up, not worth even watching once. I think I voice the opinion of that class of viewers who genuinely love and worship the natural actor in Mohanlal when I'm saying that YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ANY COST.
It is so ironic.. when the movie is exactly like a Hollywood movie everyone says it is a rip off.. and if it is not like a hollywood movie they look down on it and insult it... Why is Hollywood always the bechmark for us? Dont we have any self respect?
Movie is a fresh entertainer. Mohanlal is always a class act in any role. The new kid deserves accolades too. Message is good and I recommend all incl. families to please watch it. Just go and relax for 2 hours, thats it. Also, this aint an Oscar movie, just a fun LAL movie. This movie has nothing in common with Bruce Almighty as mentioned in online reviews.
Please dont be biased by other movies that are on show at the same time. A movie has to be reviewed for its own merits/demerits and not as a comparitive study against movies running in theaters in parallel.
