Tam movie makers have no choice but to make sub standard movies with people having no acting sense, but ham throughout. They have to resort to skin show and stupid dances and hamming action, because tamil audiences do not seem to grow up and mature to see good cinema. People talk of the degrading quality of malayalam cinema. But the worst mallu movie is 100 times better than the best tam movie

Rythm are you out of your mind. This is a movie aimed at B & C centers. Even the original Jaganmogini is for C centers.
You don't need movies like that because there are enough porn going around in your place.

I do watch Mallu movies, even the latest Pazhasi Raja, but I will be a fool if I compare it with the latest Suriya movie Adhavan (a commercial masala movie). Everyone has different taste so respect it and keep quiet.

Tamil cinema have been making enough good quality films in recent times. Dont forget that Bollywood remakes more of Tamil films these days (Ghajini, Pokkiri, Pammal K Sambandham). Worst Mallu movie 100 times better? Crap! The best Tamil movie is 10x better than the best Mallu movie. Its not all about realistic storyline. A movie should have the right mix of storyline, screenplay and should attract the audience. Malayalam movies have absolutely no concern for viewer attraction because they are damn slow and send off you into a yawn. They are mainly for the elite purists.

Sudarsan, Ghajini concept is based on English movie Memento. Pokkiri is remake of telugu movie Pokiri. You need to provide better examples. This shows you are not exposed other than tamil cinema.

Tamil movies are crap, they are generally remakes of mallu or telugu movies. Now a days they have started copying bollywood.

They also remake from hindi too. Thay are copying from Hollywood and other nation languages from long back.

If Mallu film industry is preparing 100% quality films Why are Mallu actors moving into tamil industry?
I saw the film, i enjoyed laughed giggled with my whole family. It was good fun !! what more can we expect from a film thats a remake of Ghost kind of film of olden times!! This surely is an out and out entertainment.
I dont think its a tamil remake, but it is old jagnmohini in telugu, starring jayamalini and narasimharaj but not tamil, directed by vitalacharya(kannadiga)

vittalacharya may be kannadiga but jagan mohini came in tamil also ( may have been produced in telugu and kannada as well) so this movie is a remake of tamil jaganmohini. thats all..
btw, i thought vitalacharya is a tellugu guy. hmm interesting to know he is from karnataka

Jaganmohini first came in kannada, it was very very old movie produced by Singh family. it was hugely successfull Later it was remade in telugu & tamil. When this remake was plannned producers took legal story permisssion fron S V Rajendra sing babu(son of original producer) & remade in tamil.
